For the last 25 years, Tektro have been well known for their braking systems and trusted by many large bike manufacturers to provide reliable braking on their complete bikes.  Tektro also produce some of the highest spec aftermarket brakes. In the past few years Tektro has focused a lot of energy on developing products for niche markets such as triathlon, cyclocross and BMX.  But recently Tektro has become a major manufacturer of hydraulic disc brakes.  

The new Tektro Auriga Comp and Auriga Pro disc brakes have received high marks in two independent comparison test conducted German Magazines, Bike and Mountain Bike.  Additionally Tektro’s rigorous Quality control methods insure the brakes will be trouble free and long lasting.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are produced in their new state of the art factory in Taiwan which opened in February 2009.
